The Route of Time

by Hannah   Mar 9, 2008

You say time heals everything, but I know it does not,
I look down at your dusty, old cot,
Where you just lie and wait,
Is life really full of all this fate?
You just stare, your eyes expressionless,
And full of all this bliss.
Hospitals really do scare the crap out of you.
But hand and hand you'll make it through.
Tomorrow will be your day,
To say,
Time will heal everything, even though I know it will not,
You lay like a piece of rot.
I love you so dear,
I wish you would have no fear.
Time starts out from the time you were little,
And it rots away like an old riddle.
What's the big mystery, where are the surprises at,
I gave you a pat on the head,
You said you did not dread,
Anything in your past,
But you're in a full body cast now,
I wish you would allow,
One last hug,
To let the bug,
Go away from your heart.
You must live on,
I sing you one last song,
For the end of the route of time has come.
