Time

by Marius Laun   Mar 27, 2008

Time flows freely
Forever constant
Never slowing down,
Leaving all those behind
Who sit and wait in its stream.
To keep on moving
requires never ceasing
Leave the past where it is,
but carry what you learned
for to dwell in the past
is to cease your life.
Just keep your time
Without squandering it
For once it is gone,
It does not return.

*this is a message to live life to the best it can be, for it is precious and a moment wasted is a moment gone. Make the best of all you have. Don't let a loved one go on without them knowing it. And most of all once something has happened don't dwell on it keep moving.

I thought it was neat. To me though it could have been a little bit more outside of the box. But it was still good. I haven't read a poem like this in a long time. I thought it was cool you put a little note at the end. It helps the reader understand
    nice job

Wow, I really liked it this, most people don't write poetry like this, and it's I really enjoyed how unique it was. I also really loved the way this poem flowed, and it's message.

I like the message of this poem. You've chosen great topic to write about. I like your choice of words from the beginning to the end. Short yet very effective write.
