The Holocaust

H- How could they kill so many people without feeling a thing? Did they not understand that everyone was the same?

O- On this frightful night we hear the cries of all the men and women who died. So many lost from Hitler’s sick game, yet only a few survived.

L- Lost yet not forgotten is what they are. For no one should have had to live like a caged animal.

O- On hope and faith these people lived. Waiting for God to help them. But so many gave up on God and they just waited to be called.

C- Consentration camps they went. You would stand in line and wait your turn you would be given a line from one to three. But if you went to line number three, you were never seen again.

A- And yet they suffered just because of their faith. They suffered by being treated horrible and being lied to.

U- Until one day the noises of the bombs came and all of them came out to see what was going on.

S- Salvation! At last the time has finally come. But wait! How do you act? Were do you go when you are know all alone? They had no clothes and had no food. Their salvation had come and they did not know what to do.

T- Time is just a fickle thing. It comes and goes and it slowly heals and forgets what happened so many years ago. The people who survived saw so many things that no human should have seen. Yet I know for sure that I will never forget who died through the horrible years of the Holocaust.
