Five Questions

by Mike Wilburn   May 17, 2008

What is a man if he cannot love?
Who is he if he cannot see?
How can he feel without sharing?
Where does he start if not the beginning?
When if ever if not now?

Love defines everyone, a gift meant to share.
Perception can either be blinding or awe inspiring.
Feeling is innate and should never be buried.
Happiness starts upon sowing the seeds of contentment.
The future is not pre-destined, time waits for no one.

What is a woman if she does not care?
Who is she if she cannot feel?
How can she feel without trust?
Where does she begin if not the present?
When does love become transparent?

Caring matters most when the subject deserves merit.
Consideration should be provided and then returned.
Faith can enrich anyone's life.
Courage to start is a virtue to be admired.
Each day is influenced by the wisdom gained.

What is a child if they cannot play?
Who are they if they cannot learn?
How can they feel without an example?
Where do they travel without guidance?
When do they begin to understand?

Life can be enjoyed most without responsibility.
Education is a tool need for success.
Positive role models aren't always chosen.
Family provides inspiration and self worth.
Vision beyond our immediate surroundings is enlightening.

What are people without each other?
Who are they if they cannot foster peace?
How can they feel without compassion?
Where should they compromise?
When will justice prevail?

Everyone needs a friend.
Victory is bittersweet.
Help should be available to all.
The finest human emotions require trust.
Peace in our lifetime appears bleak.
