WHEN YOU SEE MY FACE MAY 16 2008 #102

MAY 16TH 2008 #102

When you see my face, do not fear me.
For that is reserved for those who seek to hurt me.

When you see my face, do not judge me.
For that is reserved for one greater than all.

When you see my face, do not belittle me.
for you know not the contents of who I truly am.

When you see my face, try only to understand me.
For I have only love for all who need it.

When you see my face, do not pity me.
But have the compassion of one that has walked the long miles of my shoes.

When you see my face, gently touch me,
For If you ever see my heart, It will surely touch yours too

When I see your face, I will smile!
KNOWING , I AM NO LONGER LOST AND ALONE, BECAUSE OF THE BOND WHICH WE NOW SHARE.

The only thing I'd have to edit about this would be the usual punctuation and capitalization.

When I read your work it reminds me of a preacher preaching because of all the exclamation marks. :) I liked the poem. It was interesting and I liked the constancy of when you at the beginning of each stanza. I'd give this poem a five.
