Master of Illusion

by -] Nobody [-   May 25, 2008

Like a puppet on a severed string
Dancing upon poesy in ponds of pageant horizon
Sculpting virtually a golden sun
To bring darkness over your radiant bliss
I stand aloft, alert
Fiercely a shadow excavated in lunar parallel
A cherishing hymn
Where lips tell of synclinal debate
Upon the face of you,
My beautiful angel
The Meek inheriting that of your sunshine tomorrow...

Once upon's etching what I once adorned
The crevices of primality
Where once these desolate lips did fulfill that of voidment
Fitting as though perfection
Bringing forth new meaning to that of paragon
And oh, what I'd of gave to find
To feel, to touch again
My own Neverland.

The sun piercing unto my back
Nestled up by that old oak tree carved with our love
Hand in hand skipping through town
Not careless, but because we made the Heavens envy
To touch... just to touch one more time
Upon the canvas that became of my life
The lips concealing my final prophecy

Oh, my divine creator
Take a bow in the remnants of this blessing
For I never knew that once I'd become Da Vinci,
Painting my love unto a tree that would shed its bark
I never knew it would be our last walk
or I'd of taken the time to show a better part in me
Engulfing her in endless passions.
To touch...
To touch upon something that remains beyond my reach
And for once quit trying to show her or prove my love
But instead, just let it be.
