Lucid Dance

by Ramblings of an ageing Kid   Jun 8, 2008

In my sleep I see words floating
In a colorful sky of mine
I gaze upon, I stare in despair
There go my words of wisdom in vain
As we dance under the pouring rain
A rain of fire whispering my skin
I feel no sorrow, I can feel no pain
And still these scars residing within
Your eyes are haunting silently
Wherever I go you are watching me
Awaking my devious lust
Kept behind those curtains of courtesy
As we loom to wards the edge
Still we are drawn to this lucid dance
Drowning too deep, aware but asleep
Moving closer, getting weak
It feels like my soul is being pulled out of me
With the speed of light I am fading to gray
I can see no love I can feel no lust
Curtains fall...
A standing ovation for the forever lost
