Hands held out

by Fiend in the Iron Maiden   Jul 25, 2008

Give, Give, Give, your hands held out for more
Take, Take, Take, you leave my heart tore
Blame me for the things you do
Leave me broken in two.
You will never notice the smiles that are lies
You will always have a man broken inside

Your hands are always held out, taking what you please
Even when I have no more to give, when Im down on my knees
Who is the thing, that leaves me so broken, with hate and strife
It is none other than Lady death, a little game called life.

Ok, this is actually my fav poem written by you so far. the rhyming went together perfect, it made so much sense in such a painful way. your saying i have skills, i am jealous of the way you can write. you can take sweet inocent nursery rhymes and turn them into soemthing dark and scary and mysterious and so your own. great poem. 5/5
