Tricky tie

by Iola   Jul 28, 2008

You who keep on blowing me away
Let me answer some questions today
It is tricky when you want someone to stay
A good chance that they even may

But what about their piece of mind
The life they leave behind
And how about a heart so kind
We all loose what we find

Yes you who just want me to play
Be wary of those who went astray
As I lie with you I just want to say
To me love always end in decay

And how about his fruitless life
Without children and a wife
What about for what he strife
And the scars made by my knife

You who hold me in your hand's palm
Makes my heart and soul turn calm
I cause your cracked lips and hand you the balm
You are not safe in my realm

So how about we just don't link
The dotted lines that make us blink
I don't eat and you won't drink
I need to think, I got to think

You who keep me safe from harm
Protect my sanity with your charm
I live in the city and you prefer a farm
In my heart goes off an alarm

And how about this tricky tie
Where to start and how and why
Should I stay or fly so high
I will lie and cry without a try
