HORSE APPLES

Horse Apples
By; R. Meuser

Horse apples are very brown
they are something you cannot eat.
But a fly will just love them,
to him it is a special treat.

A fly will fly all day
searching for a turd.
As soon as he finds one,
he quickly spreads the word.

Soon there are millions of flies
swarming all around.
All you see is flies
the turd cannot be found.

Put your hand real close
and swish them all away.
The crap will reappear
exactly where it was laid.

Horse apples are very hot
in the winter, they tend to steam.
Making clouds of stinky do do
drifting in winter's air stream.

Summer time is my favorite
with those apples on the ground.
The birds pick out the yummy seeds
while the flies buzz around.

It is a fact that all horses
tend to pee and poop.
So if you don't like the flies
just shovel it with a scoop.
