MOTHERS AND DIRT (free verse)

Mothers and Dirt
By: R. Meuser

Kids track dirt in the house.
Mothers sweep it out.
Husbands get dirt on their clothes
Mothers wash it out.
The pets shake it off on the floor.
Mothers mop away the dirt.

God took a hand full of dirt
and He made man.
He wanted to make mothers
out of the same.
But He knew
She wouldn’t have liked the dirt.
So He split the Adam.

This is so cute and funny and your are correct mothers don't like dirt and I like the twist of the last two lines. Well done.
