Ravaged Heart

Forces of immeasurable
conflict tattered in
translucent garb
create confusion
casting us into the
nothingness of a
lost friendship where
only distant vows echo
coldly against the beat
of my ravaged heart

*This was a club challenge rewrite. It's based off of the very first poem I ever wrote titled "The Invisible Force"
