Disclaimer from a Ghost

by Iola   Feb 16, 2009

My only friend from nowhere even close
The lover between white and wet sheets
Thank you for feeding me a higher dose
You seem to love me dead and discreet

My feverish bride filled with utter belief
The rose you gave me died a long time ago
Of my heart you will never be the thief
You cannot deny what you already know

My rosy cheeked man without a clue
We are gone to this world forever more
Neither of us believe love to be true
Not wedding bells we are living for

My only lonely partner in this crime
To hug a ghost must be quite warm
Only a fight and a matter of time
Before both our hearts start to mourn

My reflection that is caused by you
You must be exhausted by our fling
I am never going to be your fool
No more love songs for me to sing
