Cascade

by Krista   Feb 25, 2009

Ripple effect in action,
amber waves of peace.
Leave me my life,
find my final bliss.

Cascade down, away,
like locks of hair.
Brunette, spiraling,
wrapped in ribbons.

Mediocore thoughts
flood like acid rain.
Trailing a poem,
a poet, struggling.

Here is another example of a good poem. I didnt think the subject was as defined as it should have been, but I like the open-ness of the poem. It seemed to suggest the imagery without defining it. The poem was left open more for me to fill the scene.

I wasnt quite sure what the poem was actaully about, but it didnt really seem to matter. It was just a nice poem to read.

Again, I did not leave a vote; I wanted to see what others thought of it.

    Keep writing.
