69 or Farmers Demise

by trippetta TC   May 13, 2009

Not the knot!!
In a courtly manner
The savage need, knock your need
You'll always want more than you got

Someone somewhere spoke of a chain, pedal hard
The breach of contract for the diamond/star panner
Concerto,ladies in white,
men in gorilla suits

So strange
In absentia she threw scarlet roses
Scalded the heart with tiger Lillie's,
who is who is a.....
Paper tiger pulled up by the roots

Pardon the icicle petals
In a bouquet of marble frozen in time
Just like Great Grandpa Moses

My Great Great Grandfather Moses was a farmer and died in the year 1969, hence the title, two Greats seemed redundant however.
