Snow on tree limbs though heavy is the most beautiful sight I have ever seen. One of the things I love about Winter. I never thought about the burden being to heavy for the limbs. Well done.

The lessons of life are hard are they not but with out a helping hand now and then they would be even harder. I wonder how another person would have approach this lesson?
A well contrived poem, thought provoking in the stream of Americas great poet Robert Frost.
Another 5/5 for a well measured and flowing metaphoric poem.

    Young oak, standing there,
    with your fragile branches,
bearing the heavy weight of the snow

This part reminds me of a young child/
a new born animal who is trying to walk. This
is so meaningful & though we have the urge
to help them..at times we just have to leave
    them alone..love the read.

What a message you have given off Ingrid, and describing it in this way was truly amazing! You are so right though, your word spoke such truth. You can just take away its misery, but then it will never grow up to be that strong oak, it must go through hardships in order to learn. A thought-provoking write, one of your best I must say. 5/5 from me, take care and God Bless!

I could picture that really well.

Something like snow on a branch seems like such a small detail, like the little things we deal with when we are growing up.

But those things add up, and sometimes no one is going to be there for you and you'll have to deal with it yourself.

I love the metaphor in your poem, so naturel, and the flow was great. 5/5!!!

This is an excellent write Ingrid. You've captured the hardships of this life so well in a beautiful verse.
The message is clear that one has to endure before they can overcome what's in the world.
    An enjoyable read my friend.

I would say, thise piece was more of a word of wisdom from a great friend. And for whoever this poem is dedicated to, lucky one to have a friend like you.

Thank you so much for taking your time to read my stuff..I really appreciate it..

Here we are in summer so like other reviewers I'm going to assume this is purely metaphorical. As you so rightly point out, our own experience, good or bad, is the best teacher.
