I think that at times you over-did it with the decriptions, there were too many adjectives in certain places.

    'and fireflies dance
    above their little heads
    Dancing upon the wind
    like the fairies do,
    little ladies
    of the light.'
`The whole idea of something dancing on top of something else, is so cliche these days. I think people are completely blinded by the fact that that thought is used SO often on this site. I would think of something more original if I were you.

Good imagery in this piece however, but the two things I mentioned I think could be worked on.

It is full of images and nice ones. It is whimsical and easy to read, no profound message to try and figure out. Just a good easy to understand poem. Well done.

    That was amazing,

    "upon the nightly breeze
    surrounded by this
    kaleidoscope of colors,
    leaving behind a trail
    of silvery sparkling fairy dust"

    - A wonderful poem. Very upbeat; you could feel the magic waiting to burst!

I have heard it said many times about a poem being over descriptive "How can that be when the words are from the writer what they feel or see at the moment.?" Each of us express ourselves differently.

A poet pours out his or her heart in words. The imagination floods our minds. This poem was peace and beauty.

OMG! This poem is so alluring and elegant. It gets one into a dreamy mood, in a paradise-like ambience. Emanates a serene calmness as one reads along. There's this animative movie-like scenario in this piece. How you described the fiaries dancing in the breeze as well as fireflies in the wind. Very vivid as if one is watching the colourful events unfold in the screen.

Very beautifully described with carefully selected words that creats such a magnificent piece. I can also imagine looking at an exquisitely painted portrait, with you sitted on the bed birthing the whole detailed art work. It can also be a paint. I really loved what you created here.

My forte is penning nature poems and I salute your perfection. Am glad I read this and I learnt a lot and I'll keep learning. Its an ace. *claps* :-)
