One and only Pac

by Countess of Monte Cristo   Nov 6, 2009

Him against the world,
Struggling in a life of shame.
But thirteen years after his death,
Everyone remembers his name.

Torn out by betrayal,
He saw the world as black.
Educated himself in prison,
He's the one and only 'Pac.

I honor this man,
Though he was and still is the subject of hate.
They tried to silence him but they couldn't,
He set the record straight.

There was never anyone like him,
Never will be perhaps.
His poems and music are an inspiration,
They're immortal-his raps.

Torn out by betrayal,
The one and only 'Pac.
No wonder it was him against the world,
Because no one had his back.

*Dedicated to my man Tupac Shakur. Say whatever you want about him, he wasn't perfect, but he lived like a real man and died like one.. Might i also add, he was a poet, and never, did he lay his hands on a woman..

It is a sad tribute to him. It is always sad when young people are killed, never getting the chance to fully realize their potential. Well done.
