Chances

by Sylvia   Nov 16, 2009

Let's pack up all our things,
hit the road, see what life brings.
Take a chance on romance,
hold me in your arms and dance.
Throw caution to the wind,
our love won't bend.
Side by side, we'll walk,
holding hands as we talk.
Creating memories to share,
when we grow old, if you dare.
I'll always be here for you,
that much I know is true.

This wasn't my favorite from you, but it was still a nice piece. I do like the happy feeling that comes with it. It's hopeful and relaxing and more people should read this. It seems so carefree and I like that as well. Good job hun :) Nik

In only a few words you've penned a beautiful verse my friend.
    An enjoyable read.

Well done Sylvia what seems a simple poem holds a lot more meaning than at first glance.
Wisdom surely comes at the wrong time in ones life. HAHA

Beautiful! Simple and short, yet so sweet! I love it... I think everyone wishes to do what you've written about with the one they love... It's wonderful!

The wording was a little flat to me.
