Congrats on moving to the next round of the contest. I loved this the first time I read it and still do. I am sure a woman you love would be honored to come and go with you. These are words I love to hear from the man I love. Well done.

    A beautiful poem Jimmy:)

I gather from the message underneath your are in some kind of contest and from the comments that you won two rounds already? Lol, I think that is great!

Your poems are of good quality, boy. Even if you did not have this support system of a club, you would do fine. I see you get lots of "outside" comments and that is the true mark of success on here.

Come go with me, paradise awaits
in the forest of forever, where I love you
is real, a broken heart doesn't exist,
    compassion links devotion.

    ^^

This was my favorite stanza, I can relate to it so well:)

Good luck on the contest, son. Keep developing your skills and send it to that adress I gave you and also: keep the best poems to yourself, it would be a pity to give it away for free on here.

    God bless,

    5/5 Ingrid

This was such a passionate write and a well-deserved win. The power in this poem still amazes me and it is rare that you come across these masterpieces, though it is starting to happen more often, with such excellent poets. I enjoyed reading your unique style, never give that up.

God bless you and Merry Christmas!

Wow! I'm speechless.... I absolutely love this poem. It really touched me and inspired me... I wish this place you write about exists! I love the comparisons you've made such as the metaphors, they really just make the poem even more delightful. Congratulations on the win, you deserve it!!

Great poem. I like the mix of sadness and hope. I think it really does a great job of touching a common human emotion of; hope for love.

Excellent piece, I really like how deep this piece is and honestly we all want paradise.

    My favorite part is...

    shedding inhibitions, cleansing
the spirit of past sorrows, where
forever is tattooed on the heart,
    replacing scars of yesterday.

So touching and so true, because only cleansing of the spirit can allow new love and a healing for scars that have been afflicted.

    Great poem
