A Taste of Heaven's Glory

by Poet on the Piano   Feb 9, 2010

Raven violin strings
sing with sons of wind
playing a soulful melody
that consist wholly of
infinite apple red petals.

China white facades
bloom into cardinal smiles
painting over pessimistic gloom
with happy splashes of love
that color coordinate our world.

Endless valleys lay ahead
while newborn buds leap
and speak in tongues of flame
offering untouched fingers
warm and merry brilliance.

Emerald grasses tickle
naked delightful toes
as glowing earth angels
run without second thought
amidst the aroma of roses.

Mouthwatering scarlet dresses
fly 'neath their mother's eye
to explore heavenly gardens
where winter greets no welcome
and summer innocence reigns.
