Someday

by Italian Stallion   Jan 13, 2011

Someday when the world's so blue,
I'll be kissing you, by the fire side;
with tears of love, slowly passing by.

So please forgive me if I make you cry
because darling, these feelings deep inside
are like ripples of the sea.

Maybe, someday when the world's so blue,
I'll be beside you, smiling with joy;
but if only I could, baby I would...

    Beautifully expressed, I felt like when you said someday, when the world is blue, it could have been portrayed as loneliness or maybe even possibly...when the world is filled with longing, a longing for a promise kept.

    Wonderful words, phrases cherished and so united together. Good job in the challenge, God bless!

    Wow, I can't imagine how you did it. But you won that challenge all right. It really doesn't show that you had to use some of the words. They all seem very in place.

    It's not one of your strongest or best poems, but given the circumstances still an excellent job.
