All gave some, But some gave all

People may say that who goes to war are stupid people
risking their lives for something that may not happen
I say thank you
to all that pay
i say i love you
to my family that served and died
they fought for a life yet unborn
they tried laughing but instead cried
my family is torn
knowing who will go
not knowing who will return
i pay tribute to my family
the ones who fought for me
throughout the family tree
i always see
that almost all the men who went to war
where not to return
i know that they wont return
i pray that their better now
i live for them
i would die for them
they are my brothers
and they were my life
