Why Can't I be Her?

by Jenn   Aug 10, 2011

I sit alone and often wonder:
"Why can't I be just like her?"
Beautiful and personal; getting everyone's attention.
Gout out and partying; having all the fun.
Does she know she has it all?
Making every body fall?
She holds beauty inside and out,
She's independent without a doubt.

When will the world turn around?
To let girls like me be found.
The beaten and the broken,
the silently unspoken.

Speak to me in truthful lies,
I'll wait until the world dies.
To be the girl that I see,
Forever wishing she was me.
