Inevitability of Death

by Laurenf7   Aug 15, 2011

A cold,dark process
Each outcome is a different state
The inevitability of death is certain
Once you know, all you do is wait.

Reassurance is always welcome
Whilst the future is set in stone
Quick, sharp, painless
Or tired are the bones.

The circle continues to grow
Emotions are close to the heart
The journey is almost over
The emptiness does not begin to start.

By a trigger it rushes back
Imagery is vivid and precise
Days are spent searching
For the wonderful world; life.
