Lazy Dreaming

by Keeper of the Gates   Jan 25, 2012

The warmth of this room
As the breeze so cozily
enters through the open windows,
Sends little chills on me.

My own breathing slows
As the dogs are howling in the dark
In the stillness of the night,
Revealing secrets of the moon.

The shadows casting their shapes
The moon that lights my space
Dreams along with the stars
Lying along with its blanket of clouds.

Ever so bright,
Stars seem to watch the sleeping
The sleeping me dreams of them,
Forgetting all the warmth and chill.

Yes upon me glitters of light,
Watch me as I dream of you
And dream back of me in the morning
when I'm too awake to even think of you.

Very relaxing and calming to the nerves.
Definitely has a comforting hand in each word.
A sense of feeling at home definitely comes to mind.
