In His Eyes

by Marino Vilano   Feb 9, 2012

I've done wrong in life,
I've made my mistakes.
I did more wrong than right,
And put so much at stake.

I've been to church and heard His word,
But still I decided to follow the world,
He's done great things with His work,
What is wrong with me, why am I a fool?

In my eyes I deserve to be judged for my wrong,
In His eyes I'm forgiven my new life has begun.
In His eyes He loves both you and me
In His eyes you and I are now free.

He died on the cross so that we may live,
He died that day for all of our sins.
In my eyes I could never pay Him back,
But in His eyes I am a really good man.

What He says is the final word,
I am what He says I'm worth.
I shall forever praise the King of Kings,
Because in His eyes I am free.

So Lord I pray to watch over me,
Not just that, but guide my family.
Wherever they may be at all times,
I know thanks to You that they'll be fine.
