I gave it my all
Tried to stand tall
For you I gave everything
In the end it meant nothing
Don't know what to do
But to let go of you
Once the apple of my eye
Now I must say goodbye
I've said it before
I'll say it once more
I loved you so much
Do anything for your touch
Once warm and bold
Now stale and cold
I'm done giving you me
Now I'll set myself free
No more second chances
No backwards glances
Got to let go
As it hurts me so
The pain will leave
I have to believe
As I open my eyes
I whisper goodbye

    I love the rhyme in the poem. It really works well with this. This is definitely tragic and sad and something a lot of people can relate to so it is a good poem. I have no complaints but I usually never do. Good job :)
