LifeBeneathTheLookingGlass.

by Alisa Daigle   Aug 20, 2012

Seasons come, seasons pass
Life beneath the looking glass
Loved ones have left, Friends moved away
&I woke up alone today.
Tomorrow is here, today is gone
Lifes unfair, so broken, so wrong
Years have come &disapeared
All replaced by empty tears
The moon now hides, the stars ran away
&Im not quite ready to face today
As weeks turn to months &dusk to dawn
To the silence I ask, "Where did I go wrong?"
The minutes drag on, Hours fly by
As I lay alone in the dirt, cursing the sky
Is the rain finally gone?, Has the storm finally past?
Too bad these blue skies never seem to last..

Season will come, seasons will pass
As I try to pick up the broken glass.
