Forever and Ever

by Katherine   Jun 29, 2004

Nine-o-clock again,
Sitting at the phone once more,
Waiting patiently for his call,
Just wishing for a knock at the door.

So many miles between them,
And so much passion within;
How could she have ever dreamed
To run away from him?

Fireworks happened,
Every time they kissed;
Her one and only man
Was sorely missed.

Leaving home one day,
To go hang out with friends,
She met upon another guy,
And found the same passion with him.

Friends they became,
And love with her man grew thin,
She couldn’t take the distance,
It was just too much with him.

He begged and pleaded,
“Don’t leave me please!”
But she had to leave,
She couldn’t deal with it.

Her new guy gave her friendship,
And acceptance with his friends
There was no distance between them,
And lovers they became.

Now she feels all happy,
Like it’s everything she’s ever dreamed,
Her whole life is before her now,
For forever and ever it seems.
