The Way

I love the way he hugs me,
I love the way he cares.
I love the way he holds me,
Just to let me know he is there.

I love the way he sees me,
As to who I really am.
I love the way he knows me,
And listens when he can.

I love the way he needs me,
It makes me feel like I am really here.
I love the way he looks at me at me,
With all the love and care.

I love the way he breaks me down,
And comforts me while I cry.
I love the way he understands me,
Even when I dont know why.

I love the way he pays attention,
And holds me close while I sleep.
I love the way he trusts me,
For in him my trust can keep.

I love our walks together,
And the way he holds my hand.
I love the way he calms me down,
And helps me keep my plans.

But most of all I love when at night I fall asleep.
And I know that he is mine to keep.
