Oh Yaki, OMG This was amazing, and you know what, so are you. You are an awesome person, you ARE beautiful, size doesn't matter its what's in the heart that counts, and your poetry DOES NOT SUCK it is AMAZING!

Enough said girl, we love you and always always remember that...smile lots and don't take the sadness as just the way you are, be strong, stay strong and look in the mirror and see the BEAUTIFUL in you

You're right, dear one, yoi're right. I am being the 'sad girl' now and I hope I'll get over it oneday as you did. I admire your strength and I love how confessional and honest your pieces are.

Btw, don't you dare say anything about your poetry, ok? Itis what helped you go through it.

This is just so sweet. I feel the sense of self-discovery radiating in this piece. Sadly positive and a sense of hopeful peace.

I believe we all feel like this at some point. When everything paints pessimism and misery. Nothing seem to drive us further, we just wish to wallow in our drown till no more. Its quiet a despicable feeling but it gives birth to a better part of us. We tend to fight it gradually and get more motivation to pen our emotions on the paper. Scribble anything that looms around us.

We tend to get out of it and never look back when we do so. Thus, appreciating ourselves and our achievements whatsoever. I really loved how you conveyed this, so true and real. I don't know you, but i know you're the famous Yaki, and our names are both produced from the same set of alphabets, :-). And you seem to be a lovable person.

    Bon Travail! :) ..

Holy cow!! This is gorgeous....I'm proud of you girl. Losing weight doesn't mean being fat was ugly it means you're getting healthy. Losing friends doesn't mean you're an unpopular loser, it means you have a sense of discernment about who you really need in your life and who you don't...

I hated watching you sad Yaki. I hated hearing you say you didn't want to live. Seriously it crushed me and pissed me off at the same time. So I'm so happy to see progress and read about your happiness and how you're looking forward to moving forward because you're right no one likes sad people. They drain you when you're around them. Being positive and excited about life usually works better for people.

    Love you

A girl like you learnt early how to be stronger than the others and you know we - latinas -are supposed to bear the burden silently, weeping when nobody can see our tears for this is what we are taught since we were kids: "swallow your tears!"or "Why are you crying? If you go on, I will beat you and you will have a reason to cry!"
A girl like you have blood in her veins, dares because she knows all kind of fears and has faced all kinds of problems.
A girl like you understands that her mother is the result of her own environment. Yaki, people can't give what they have never had.In order to love someone, first we have to love ourselves.A woman enslaved by a
life of sadness and sacrifices has no time to show feelings because she herself is too busy trying to survive (herself).Forgive her and forgive yourself firstly for not being what people expected women to be in Latin America. We have to live to be who we really are.
A girl like you is too young to be wise but it is exactly what you are: a latina who dominated fate with an arm bar and I look up to you because you make difference in this world of dangerous alienation.
A girl like you is not a girl anymore. A girl like you is a woman prepared to fulfil her mission in life.
