Cancer.

by OutCastxKippy   Dec 4, 2012

Why do you lie to me?
Mom, just tell me the truth.
Don't tell me things will be okay.
I know the truth.
I know I have cancer.
Tell me something I want to hear.
That you'll love me like every other parent love their children.
We'll play pretend and act like my cancer doesn't exist.
That life is sunshine and rainbows.
Mommy, can you manage that?
Can you also not cry every time you see me?
I'm okay, I promise.
Now please stop weeping.

*I have lately seen commercials about children with cancer and diseases and such which I found very touching, so I thought I would make this poem..hope you all enjoyed it*
