Eagle Wings

by Anthony Harder   Feb 27, 2013

When you touch me it's a high I can't explain. Your presence flows over me like the blood inside my veins.
I feel a feeling that's impossible to speak. When you spend time with me I fly high like the eagles around the mountain peaks. You have a smile that can drug a man, with an extremely addictive hug. Your kisses are deadly, and the way I want to die is by an overdose of your sweet sweet love. The sour times in life hold no weight to the boulders you have lifted from my chest. I know that you are bad for me, yet you always leave me feeling like a bird inside its nest. Safe and sound in my home built in the world's tallest tree. Ready for the shove that sends me falling to the surface, I wait for the moment I grow and freely fly with the gracious eagle wings.
