Who will Live to Tell the Story?

"Who will Live to Tell the Story?" #76 10:42 am

Who will Live,
To tell the Story?
When the Animals,
Are all gone ...

Who will Live to tell the Story,
When the skin peels from my arm?

Who will be around,
to cast the glory?
when the heart,
has left the soul ...

Who will be around,
to smell the ending...
to hear the jewels,
drop from the crown?

When 17 Trillion;
Glassy Eyes,
Cash in their Lot,
Reap the interest on bonded Lies.

What Lonely Farmer,
will tend the crop?
As blades break open,
An Apocalypse of gore and blooming doubt ...

Who will live to tell the story?

Oh my gosh, my thoughts are all over the place after reading this piece.

I found this poem to be such an interestingly unique write Andrew...We write of life, we write of death, we write of heaven, we write of hell, but I can't say I've ever read a piece questioning who will be here when all is gone? Will there even be a story to tell? Will there even be any source of life left?

Such a thought provoking piece. I think your question marks need to be put at the end of the actual statement though, itd read better.

I love the tone of this write the most...As much as it was interesting, you made it so eerie that itd made me want to live life to the fullest, because one day I wont be around...and if there are people here when I leave, I need to give them something good to talk about...and if no one is here when I'm gone, then I need to give the people something to talk abotu when I get to the after life...

    Seriously loved this.
