Heart

by Tess Harvester   Apr 15, 2013

When she loves him
And he loves her,
I fill with dreams
Of the next kiss,
Of the next words.

When she loves him
And he loves her,
I throb in her chest,
Like a glowing flower
Under the sun.

When she loves him
And he loves no more,
I shrivel into a red knot
And bleed over the minutes
Throughout her day.
