Blushes of the Fallen

by Daylight Lucidity   May 16, 2013

I shudder as I feel
Your fingers trail my arm,
And tremble as I feel
Your lips graze my jaw.
Smiling as I feel heat
As a blush blossoms on my face
Rushing to turn my cheeks
A delicate and delightful pink.
I know it's not right,
I shouldn't want it like I do,
But you make me see a different light
That swims around you.
My smile resurrects
From the shores of the long forgotten
In which it reflects
An angel who has fallen.

Your lips brush mine
And the longing I feel is strong
This time
As I wish to place a kiss even though it's wrong.
I hang my head in my hands
Wishing that it could be easier
Hoping that there was a chance
To see things clearer.
Your fingers trail my neck
And trace my collar bone
I shiver despite
The warmth that I know.

I deserve no peace, none at all
I deserve no love
So leave me with the blushes of the fallen
To be tortured until I've had enough.

I agree with Cathy. You so deserve love and you will find it. Now may not be the best time and some things may stand in your way of having that love but it will work out.

Seems as if the person this is wrote about cares about you. Obviously that person understands that it is wrong and tries to hide the affection for you but finds it hard (obviously because you're pretty awesome). Worded beautifully.
