Vision

by nouriguess   Oct 22, 2014

This soldier had been
sitting on the furthest
bench in the park. He'd been
there since last October with his girl next
to him, his jacket on her shoulders.
Every day, he takes a jasmine and
plants it in her hair, she playfully pinches
his arm and gives him
a shy smile.
I've been watching them
since last October
through my window.
The soldier walked away yesterday.
The girls tress started growing
jasmines by itself
now.

I love the image that you painted in this piece.

Beautiful and powerful yet quite sad in all its purity.

Girls should be girl's as the tress is owned by the girl herself.

This poem is so beautiful miss noura. I'm pondering this poem too, could it be that you are the girl that you see, you are just having memories that brought back last October? This could be located at a bus stop and the solider got called into duty. There is a lot of love and sadness here, the guy makes the girl blush and shy away but the sadness is the day the soldier walked away. Jasmine is a beautiful flower as well. And I believe you are the jasmine and being compared to the jasmine. Beautiful write
