Moonlight Dinner:

by Scott Cole   May 28, 2015

Oh hey there Mr. Moon
Did the cow jump over you,
And why in this World
Does a dish need a spoon.

I see you high up there
You look to be having fun,
But it's kinda hard to see
Because there is no Sun.

So why let a big ole cow
For you know cows can't jump,
What was you even thinking
For cows are big and plump.

Why not choose a rabbit
Or maybe even some frog,
Heck before I trust a cow
I would even train a dog.

Oh and this dish thing
Keep your hands to yourself,
So leave that spoon alone
Yes leave him to himself.

If you really wish to eat
Then you get yourself a seat,
Tonight you will need a fork
For tonight we're having meat.

So when you chew and eat
The cow will do his jump,
The spoon I can not see
So the fork will be enough.

Oh hey there Mr. Moon
I see your cow and spoon,
And watch out for that dish
Cause it's time to eat real soon.
