deserted thoughts...

keeping ones head warm
helped an aging ostrich mind
find his best sand hat

This is wonderful, I have read it a handful of times and each time I find a new voice for it. Ones that might think of the story differently, and none of them felt the need to explain or spoil the mystery that you've created within this - which I really enjoyed.

I've come to notice that almost all of your works have some sort of flare and uniqueness to them, but that style is not shared among them it is always something so different and personalized to each one. I am sure this comes with practice but it adds something so dynamic to your poetic voice and that truly captivates me.

    Anyway, great write. Completely interesting.

Michael, totally digging this. Wasn't sure if you were the ostrich? I know you did the MacMillan challenge so you are growing hair back. Not so sure what you are trying to burying your head over. Then you've got aging in there, which makes me think it's not about you. I don't exactly qualify you as "aging", just saying. Anyway, loved this write, got me thinking as a lot of your writes do- take care- hugs-Brenda

    Michael, Michael, Michael.
I really liked this it was deep and very thought provoking though I have to say I am with Naomi on the ostrich needing hat to keep warm but it is getting colder by the day lol
You always do well with these forms

Michael - I saw the inspiration for this on the judging thread. It made me laugh then and is tickling me in a similar manner now!

    Excellent stuff!

*I appreciate the 'Deserted' title too (in keeping with the sand)
