It Only Takes A Spark:

by Scott Cole   Apr 28, 2017

Can a burnt down heart
Rekindle from ashes old,
Long after the flame is gone
But before the fire gets cold.

Can it rise from the soothe
That black darkness of despair,
And then dust itself off
As if nobody really cares.

For nothing of this World
Can satisfy my heart's yearning,
Over that nice toasty feeling
That keeps the home fire burning.

After my divorce I never thought I would ever find love again. I was resigned to the fact I would stay alone. I took a chance and actually met my husband on a on-line dating site. He rekindled that love I was convinced was long burnt out. It just took that someone special. Well done on this-it really made me smile.
