Suffer in silence (SIS)

by Kereen   May 14, 2017

He destroyed my humanity
And I destroyed my sanity
missing him
just missing him
Only we know the sad fate that sits there
Waiting for us

He told me goodbye
I walked away
Feeling his eyes watching me go
Knowing he's too proud to say no
I feel his eyes calling begging me to stay
But hatred is in each glare
Burning me hopelessly in each stare

My heart is taken but by mistake
He has my heart and it he breaks
I suffer in silence (SIS)
And my pillow proves it
Soaked from the rain falling from the storm clouds in my eyes caused by the uncontrollable depression in my heart

Suffer in silence (SIS)
And I can't be helped
Pushing away those who want to love me
Waiting for someone to come crashing in from the walls above me
He has my heart but he doesn't know
And now we've parted feelings we don't show
How can I get back what he doesn't know he owns
So I suffer in silence
SIS is written in my bones

This is one heck of a piece here. I feel the heartbreak in each line, and I feel the emotions in every stanza. I swear I'll nominate it next time.
This deserves to have some attention.
    Amazing job.

    Kareen,

This is a particularly sad piece of writing - the flip side of the joys love can bring, I suppose. However, it's written well with some strong rhyming throughout.

    All the best,

    Ben

I guess it is the flip side to love's joy. Thank you
