The dangers of texts!

The Dangers of Texts

Written for a very young friend (only 22) who I was speaking to today - I'm way too old to do this now, but I hope this makes you smile!

Where for art thou Romeo
I sent a text an hour ago!
Does it mean you do not care?
Have you found a love else where?

I sent a message on Whatsapp
Is this some kind of wicked trap?
Yet still you don't respond by text
Now, tell me, what will happen next?

I fear that we are finished now
You maybe think that I'm a cow.
I'll drown my sorrows with some wine
Pretend I don't care, that I'm fine.

I didn't like you any way.
'Easy come', or so they say.
I'll move on now and look beyond
The frog that came out from a pond!
