Dark Tides

Dark waves roll across
Rugged blood filled shore
the Clouds weep in sorrow
For the waste of lives and carnage
Spread below

Death weaves a ghastly dance
As he siddles silently between
The bodies of the dammed
And pulls behind him
The stricken souls
bound in horror's chains

Still bewildered at the speed
Of their untimely death
The ferociusness of battle
They never saw

For war is meaningless
Destruction and loss
For what?
Death' toll is rising
