my eternal

I've been down some dark and narrow paths
put my love aside me and used hate and messed with thugs
to put off my agony for far to long
I knew I wasn't turning out right, I knew I needed help
I searched for help and in him I found
the wonderful godliness
once I saw his light I asked how can it be
that you are saving me I'm a coward and unworthy
but you treat me like righteousness
He said he made me in his image
and for that he loves me and I was created
for his purpose and his purpose for me was light and eternal life
sin leads to eternal damnation in hell's fire
I chose my heavenly father over my dirty brothers and sisters
and so he cleanses me in his name, I prayed and praised
so he gave me life that will not end on my final night.
