Nature is beautiful too

There's something so beautiful
about the way the golden sunlight hits the trees;
Illuminating everything in its wake.
The leaves are shades of
yellow-red and they gently sway in the cool crisp breeze of fall air;
the branches golden brown when hit by the sunlight.
My mind is groggy from tiredness
but I can't help but notice
how glorious the entire scene looks from my window as I try
Not to fall asleep before nightfall.
The yard is covered in leaves-
All kinds of colors.
From yellow-red to red-orange;
every leaf is different in its own unique way and with the
sunlight running across them it almost leaves me breathless.
Fall is my favorite season;
And it has more to do with the views than it does with
Pumpkin spice lattes and bon fires.
So as my eyelids flutter shut;
I remind myself that sometimes it not all about love,
Nature is beautiful too.
