Farewell

by Michael   Sep 24, 2017

shadows-silently gather in black,
an orchestra of cries; echoes weeping;
out of tune. Shoulders weighed;
with grief carrying a casket-
full of love-loss. Solicitude
wraps with sympathy
and hands pat a
gentle fare-
well

    Really captures the heaviness of death. I like the kenning of 'love-loss'- a perceptive depiction of grief.
