All I'm going to say is I really hope my nomination shows how much I appreciate this write. Not once have I used up all my nominations in one day.. My goodness that ending is the most raw hard hitting piece I've read in an age and it resonates so much with me

There are many of us out there to whom this will this will resonate.

We do not mimic sentiment. We are infuriated. How many have lost friends, lovers or comrades to these acts?

If I were not past it and were allowed to do so I would join back up.

The armed forces and governments throughout this planet have tried the hearts and minds game. It did not work and never will.

The only solution is not one I like to contemplate.

We want change but are unwilling to start small changes within our selves... I personally want to change the way things are but can't get past my own dilemma a lot of times. This resonated deep as this is as Kitty puts it...true and tragic. It is very well put, great piece.

This is the truth about the today's world which we all have accepted.

I absolutely loved the title of the piece and though I'll have to admit to googling desensitization it fitted perfectly because I think we all have our own cycles of coping with the things we are afraid of and the poem did not disappoint... Everything seemed to fit perfectly like a glove, the words of the piece are weaved together beautifully making for an astounding piece overall.
