P.S. I Love You:

by Scott Cole   Jan 13, 2018

From the laying down of the letters
Into affectionate worded lines,
From the echoes of my thoughts
To the outskirts of my mind.

I put the pencil to the paper
Filling it's whiteness with grey matter,
By breathing life into parched lungs
As hollow pages inhale my chatter.

So let this graphite speak for me
Let these pages reap what I sow,
As my handwriting moves side to side
May my bottled up feelings freely flow.

Until my understanding is mesmerizing
And it's luring enticement is hypnotic,
As the stimulation from my chiseled words
Bring forth tears of joy unto your optics.
P.S. I Love You

This is sublime...writing in a journal (so I think this is about) can be somewhat comforting

I like everything about this Scott, it's just so well written, laid out, rhymed and the content with its double meanings is just so clever! Brilliant! :-) x

Dear Scott, the marriage of pen (pencil here) and paper is a them that you conquer, every time differently and wonderfully. It is your forte.
