All I’ve got

by Phoenix ¥   Apr 2, 2018

I don’t recognise what I have become,
Sitting here feeling angry and numb.

Consumed in a most unpleasant way,
Wondering how I’ll get through the day.

Thoughts of you
They never stop
All I have, all I’ve got.

I agree with Kitty. Letting go is just the beginning, but it's the first step.
    Lovely write. Well done.

Sometimes you have to let go to find the new ... easier said than done I know, and I feel your pain through your words Phoenix. :-) x

Love can bring such pleasure...but such terrible misery as well.

Well written and all the best,

Reflecting, contemplating the aftermath and considering the next move.

We have all been there, the myriad of emotions and confusion of what comes next. At times like these, we hold onto light, shielding it like flame of promise.

    Take care.

Phoenix this poem is so lovely. Well it starts with scene setting that is terrifyingly sad but the last part is so warm and comforting, it's beautiful.

Hold on to all you've got because even thou it might not sound like a lot it seems like it has great value and very precious.

    Take good care X
